Has my order been sent?
As soon as your order has been dispatched you will be sent an email to confirm that it's on its way, including tracking details to track your order. Generally, orders within Australia arrive in 1-5 business days, international orders in 3-10 business days.
How will my order be sent?/Delivery options
We know how important it is to receive your goods as quickly as possible and when you expect them, especially if your order is for a specific occasion. We partner with Australia Post to deliver Australia wide and all over the world, there are numerous delivery options as outlined below.
Australia and New Zealand, Standard Delivery - within 5 days
Standard delivery is $7.95, free for orders over $75. Your order will be sent via Australia Post, a signature may be required on delivery, therefore we recommend a work address or address where someone is likely to be there. If a signature is required and no-one is at the delivery address you will be left a collection card to collect the parcel at the designated Post Office or outlet. You will receive your order within 4 business days, for example if you order by midday Monday, you will receive your order by Friday.
Australia, Express Platinum Delivery - next day
Express Platinum next day delivery is $10.95, $4.95 for orders over $75. If you order by midday you will receive your order the following business day by midday, if you order on a Saturday or Sunday, your order will arrive Tuesday by midday. Your order will be sent via Australia Post Express Platinum, a signature is required on delivery therefore we recommend delivery to a work address or address where someone will be available to sign for the parcel. If no-one is available to sign for the parcel, a collection card will be left advising of which Post Office your parcel can be collected from. Express Post Platinum delivery is available in most city and metropolitan areas, to check if your area is services please visit www.auspost.com.au or call 13 13 18.

If you have received an item that has been damaged in transit or is faulty please contact our Customer Care Team with details including your name, order number and what the problem is. As soon as we have been notified we will ensure the issue is quickly resolved.

Sassi Jewels offers Australian and New Zealand customers several payment options as below, we ask customers from other countries to pay via PayPal.
Credit card: Visa, MasterCard and American Express are accepted via our secure online payment system. Your credit card must be issued in Australia or New Zealand. We use encryption technologies - including, but not limited to, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to safeguard your credit card number and other consumer data as it is exchanged with our website.
PayPal: By selecting to pay with PayPal during checkout you will be directed to the PayPal website, you can then pay with Visa or Mastercard without creating/logging into a PayPal account, or you can create/login to your PayPal account and have the options to also pay from a designated bank account or use your PayPal funds. If you do not have a PayPal account you can set one up for free during checkout after selecting pay with paypal or by visiting www.paypal.com. Returns Policy
As part of our commitment to provide star treatment to our customers, all items, except for earrings for hygiene reasons and outlet clearance items, may be returned for a refund, exchanged for another size, colour or item or returned for a credit note within 60 days of receipt. Returns are simple and fast. We ask that items returned must be in their original condition and have any tags still on them. All goods will be inspected on return. The goods are your responsibility until they reach us.

3. Complete the returns form and enclose inside a parcel of your choice along with your item/s to return/exchange (you can reuse a padded envelope from original order if you have one providing any old labels are covered or crossed out with a marker). Attach the label on the returns form or write the below address on the parcel and send through your choice of postal service, we suggest you use a reliable method as the goods are your responsibility until they reach us.

Once your parcel is received and inspected, usually within 24 hours of receipt, we will process your exchange/refund as per your instructions. We will keep you in the loop by sending you an email or calling you once we have actioned your refund/exchange. Only the amount for the merchandise will be refunded, if delivery was paid this will not be refunded. If a refund is being issued to a credit card it may take 2-10 business days for the funds to arrive back into your card, depending on your credit card company.
Return exceptions
All items are eligible for exchange or refund, except for:
- Earrings - due to hygiene reasons it is our policy that earrings are never accepted for return/exchange, it is hard to distinguish if earrings have been worn therefore this policy in the best interest of all customers
- Outlet/Clearance items – can be exchanged or returned for store credit within 7 days, except for earrings as above
- Jewellery that has been worn, purposely altered or damaged

You do not need an account to shop at Sassi Jewels, however we highly recommend that you create an account or during checkout tick the option to create an account, all you will have to do at that point is create a password and your account will automatically be created during checkout.

Sassi Jewels is predominantly created from Sterling Silver with Rhodium plating over the top, however we also have jewels that are layered with Gold and created from jeweller's brass or other materials and layered with Rhodium or Gold. The jewels are set with a variety of materials including simulated Diamonds and Gemstones (premier grade Cubic Zirconia), natural gems, shell and fresh water pearls. The details of what each piece is crafted from is in the item details area and/or item description.
What do terms like plating and Vermeil mean?
These terms all refer to when jewellery has a base metal and then is plated/coated/layered with another metal. There are different ways this can be done and various metals can be used. The different terms relate to the thickness of the metal the jewels are coated with, the method or the combination of metals. You may have bought jewellery that looks like Silver or Gold then turns green or black, this is usually because the jewellery was made from a base metal such as Brass or Copper and then only lighted plated with Silver or Gold, as the plating was so light it quickly wore away and the base metal was exposed, oxidised and changed colour. Different countries, companies and people sometimes use different terms which may not be 100% correct. Generally the terms as distinguished as below, plated jewellery usually has the thinnest layer of plating:
Plated jewellery - is a method of depositing a thin layer of metal such as Gold or Rhodium onto the surface of another metal, usually Brass, Copper or Silver.
Layered jewellery - also known as "rolled Gold" or "rolled Gold plate" is composed of a solid layer of Gold (or other metal such as Silver) bonded with heat and pressure to the base metal such as Brass or Silver.
Electro plated jewellery - this refers specifically to the method use for the plating and not necessarily the thickness of the plating, which may vary. The method consists of the article to be plated being connected as the cathode in the electrolyte solution, direct current is introduced through the anode which consists of the metal to be deposited.
Vermeil jewellery - (pronounced vehr may), a French word which came into use in the English language, mostly in America, in the 19th century as an alternative for the usual term Silver gilt. It's a combination of Sterling Silver, Gold and other precious metals. A typical example is Sterling Silver coated with Gold. To be considered Vermeil, the Gold must be at least 10 Karat and be at least 135 micrometres thick. The Gold and Silver are bonded together by electrlysis. Sometimes Sterling Silver covered with a base metal (such as Nickel) and plated with Gold may be referred to as Vermeil however this is not standard and should be clearly stated that the base metal is not Sterling Silver.
Nickel Free Jewellery
925 Sterling Silver consists of 92.5% pure Silver and the remaining 7.5% comes from either Copper, Zinc or Nickel. Some people experience allergic reactions to Nickel such as itching and redness at the point of contact.
How to care for your Jewellery
We recommend you clean your jewellery with a silver or jewellery cloth and to clean any stones, lightly brush with warm soapy water with a toothbrush or small brush. It is best not to wear jewellery when swimming, washing dishes and coming into contact with chemicals and water.

Jewellery sizing and size chart
Rings: You can measure to find out ring sizes or convert ring sizes from the size chart. Our rings do not come in half sizes, we recommend you choose the size up or down, depending on how you like your rings to fit, loose or firmer. All rings fit differently depending on the width of the band and style, so you may find that you can wear more than one size. Rings come in a range of Sizes from size 3 to 12.
Necklaces: Most necklaces are available on your choice of chain lengths. Lengths are shown in inches/cms. You can check or convert lengths on the Size chart
Bracelets: Most bracelets will fit all wrists, however some bracelets and bangles are more suited to a particular wrist size. If a bracelet/bangle is more suited to a particular wrist size this will be noted in the items description and/or item details.

We appreciate it can be frustrating if there is an item you want to buy but it’s out of stock. Some of our most popular products/sizes can run out very quickly so the key is to get in quick. Alternatively, we are always adding more items so you may find something else similar.
